Procedures

When you join the CCH family, we have standard practices for the safety of all concerned.  We enter your home and desire only the best experiences for you, your family, and your furry friends.

Each team member has previous experience working with animals of all sorts and has been fully vetted to serve you and your fur family! All team members receive training in first aid and pet CPR as part of our onboarding process.

We train each member for thirty (30) hours of on-the-job training, allowing them to work with your family. Additionally, ten (10) hours of continuing education are required annually.  

Booking Policy

We love caring for your pets and want to make sure every visit is safe, calm, and well-planned. To help us do that, we ask for a little advance notice when scheduling services.

For Existing Clients

  • We kindly ask that bookings be requested at least 24-48 hours in advance.

  • While we’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, bookings made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to availability.

For New Clients

  • To get started with us, new clients need a minimum of 7 days’ advance notice to request a service or reservation.

  • Before confirming any booking, we’ll need:

  • A completed pet profile and required documentation uploaded to PetPocketBook

    1. A successful meet and greet, so everyone (pets included!) feels comfortable and confident.

  • Services and reservations can be confirmed once all onboarding steps are completed.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support. These guidelines enable us to provide every pet with the attentive, loving care they deserve.

We use PetPocketBook for our bookings, client updates on their pets, and current invoices.  

Our procedure is simple and made with your family in mind.  We are here to help, NEVER to make it more difficult!

We have a few requirements when loving those furry friends.

  1. All animals must have resided in your home for 10 weeks.  This is done for your furry friend’s best interest.

  2. Special needs of pets must be made known before any bookings are made.

  3. All animals must be 10 weeks old and weaned from their mother.

  4. Before we can assist you with pet care needs, proof of all necessary vaccines for your pet is required. Special circumstances will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

  5. During the reservation, we will keep in touch about the health of the clients and pet sitters.
